Seedling No. PP-2005-2. First bloomed 2008, first propagated 2010. Parentage: ‘Maironis’ (O. Skeivienė, 1964) x ‘Garbe Motinai’ (O. Skeivienė, 1958) [see Note below]. Midseason bloom period. DOUBLE flowers, 6-6½ inches (16 cm) in size, 3-4 per stem. Petals are soft lilac-pink, fading lighter towards the edges (RHS:65-A to RHS:65-C). Guard petals are large (2 inches (5cm) wide), generally rounded but delicately ruffled. Average of 3 moderately hairy, light yellowish-green carpels. Stigmas are dark purplish-red (RHS:63-B) and fertile. Pollen bearing stamens have vivid yellow filaments at the base, light yellowish-green towards the tips. Pleasant fragrance. Foliage emerges deep purplish red (RHS:61-A), matures to green. Upright growth to 39 inches (100 cm) but benefits from support when in flower.
