Guard petals rounded, shallowly notched. Some petals show white streaks. Carpels vestigial or absent. Stamens mostly transformed, but some pollen-bearing ones remain interspersed among petals. Fertility not tested. Early foliage burgundy to green. Height to 26 inches (66 mm), upright growth, supplementary support not needed.
